A warming tiled stove with sheepskin, a dining table with plenty of space for everyone and room-length Douglas boards with a natural appearance: this chalet in Chamonix embodies the dream of the alpine home. The Douglas boards in the object were treated with lye and oiled white. The light surface of the boards and the generous window facade give the chalet a friendly and cosy feel. Rustic decoration elements complete the chalet character of this project.
