This one-family house in the Black Forest was finished in 2016. The fundamental body of the object has a monolithic appearance and lends itself well to smooth, straight-lined shapes. For the wooden board floor for the ground storey, the stairs and the upper storey, the building owner chose solid pur natur boards in oak wood. The surface of the boards was brushed and then oiled white. This particularly underlines the wood structure and creates a unique feel. On the ground floor, a width of 330mm was chosen for the floorboards, a width of 170mm for the upper storey. The folding stairs in solid oak wood are also a statement in the room, that is particularly apparent due to the white walls.
