The living foundation of the building in Schleswig-Holstein was equipped with oak 3-layer boards in remarkable lengths. The boards in 300mm width have a length of up to 7.5 metres and a striking appearance. Before the surface treatment with white-pigmented lye, the boards were brushed to reinforce their structure – the result is a remarkable surface and a charming, caramel-coloured shimmer. For floating stairs, oak boards in individual sizes were made and fitted into steel steps.
The family in this house wanted a floor in its most natural form and chose the »Natur» sort. Its cheerful marking blends into the room appearance, of which the straight-lined interior is predominantly characterised by discreet colour nuances.

The appearance of the robust oak boards was freshened up with white-pigmented oil. The surface is thus given a soft shimmer.
